rain 56 °F

Today was a travel day from Garner to St. George, SC. We chose it because we can do a day trip to Charleston and it wasn't a bad ride, only 235 miles. The hardest part of the trip today was the rain, which we had on and off for much of the day. It seems as if we have been having lots of rain for the last few weeks and living in the south we are not used to it.
We stopped for lunch in Florence, SC at the Mellow Mushroom. While waiting for the light to change we realized that the light looked like a character we know. Do you recognize him?

We pulled into our campground in the pouring rain and were lucky to get a pull through, so we didn't get too wet. When it finally stopped raining we walked around the park and it is one of the nicest Passport America parks we have been to. We only paid $20 and $3 was a 50 amp fee. We are very happy and will stay for 2 or 3 nights depending on the weather. Charleston in the rain is not as much fun as Charleston in the sun.

With the rain the high temp was only 56° today. Another chilly day.
